Connect Claude to Telegram

A trip, a launch, a renovation — the decisions happen in a group chat and stay buried there. Let the chat become a context, and let Claude read the same records the group produced.

If the link does not open, find the bot in Telegram: @ai_contexter_bot — or open it in the app.

The problem

A group chat remembers everything and tells you nothing

  • The decision is somewhere above. The date was agreed four hundred messages ago, between a photo and a joke.
  • One person becomes the archive. Whoever scrolls best ends up retelling the thread to everyone else, again.
  • Screenshots do not scale. Pasting fragments into an assistant gives it the fragments, not the thread — and it has to be redone the next time.

How it works

The group writes, the context keeps, Claude reads

The bot sits in the group as a participant; Claude connects to the same context from outside it. Nobody forwards anything.

  1. Add the bot to the group. Everyone who wants to be collected joins in for themselves — those who do not stay out of it entirely.
  2. Let the chat be a chat. Messages of the people who joined become records, with who said it and when.
  3. Connect Claude once. How to connect →
  4. Ask it about the thread. What did we agree in the “Dolomites hike” context — dates, transfer, who is bringing what? The answer is written next to the records it came from.

Everyone else in the group can open the same context in their own assistant, or simply read it in Telegram — nobody has to switch tools to keep up.

Honestly

Consent is the mechanism, not the promise

  • Only those who joined in. In a group the bot collects the messages of people who asked to be collected, and nobody else — including people who are talking in the same chat at the same time.
  • The audience is visible. A context made from the chat is shared with those same people, shown on the card rather than assumed, and access can be revoked.
  • Deletion is reversible for seven days, so a wrong move is not the end of the record. The privacy model →

FAQ

Questions about this pair

Does the bot read everything in my group?

No. In a group it collects only the messages of people who joined in themselves. Anyone who has not is not collected at all, and that holds even if they are talking in the same chat.

How does Claude see what was said in the group?

The group's messages become records in a context, and Claude connects to that context as a client. You ask it about the context by name, and it reads the same records the chat produced.

Who can see a context made from a group chat?

The people from that group who joined in. The audience is shown on the context card, so it is visible rather than assumed, and access can be revoked later.

Can everyone in the group use their own assistant?

Yes, and that is the point. One person can continue the context in Claude, another in ChatGPT, a third can just read it in Telegram or on the web — the records are the same for all of them.

Also using ChatGPT? One context between ChatGPT and Claude, or ChatGPT with Telegram.

Let the chat keep the decisions, not the scrollback.

Add the bot to the group, connect Claude, and ask the context instead of the archive.
